How we plan your trip

Each trip starts with a conversation. We ask about your dates, the people travelling, your interests and how you like to travel, and then suggest an itinerary with accommodation that fits your budget. We are happy to talk through options before you decide: different routes, different seasons and the trade-offs between more parks and more time in each. If you are travelling with children, celebrating a special occasion or combining the safari with a climb or a beach stay, we plan those parts together so the whole trip fits.

You receive a written quote with a day-by-day plan. We adjust it until it is right, and once you confirm, we book the lodges, flights and transfers and send you everything you need to prepare. The quote shows the route, the accommodation, what is included and what is not, so you can compare options with a clear picture. Before you travel, we send practical information about packing, money, health and what to expect on arrival, and we remain available for questions at every stage, by email, phone or WhatsApp.

On the ground in Tanzania

Our team is based in Arusha, the starting point of most northern circuit safaris and the closest city to Kilimanjaro. Being local means we know the roads, the parks, the lodges and the seasons, and we can help quickly if plans need to change. Knowing the region well also means knowing the people who make a trip work: lodge managers, mountain crews, drivers and local guides. Those relationships help when something unexpected happens, such as a flight change or a road closed after heavy rain, and they mean we can arrange small personal touches along the way.

During your trip your driver-guide is your main contact, and the office team supports them throughout. If a flight is delayed or you want to change a plan along the way, we sort it out with you. Our guides know the parks and the wildlife and adapt each day to the people in the vehicle. If you would like to stay longer at a sighting, skip a stop or add a visit to a village or a coffee farm, simply ask. The office follows the trip from Arusha and steps in whenever extra help is needed.

Private and tailor-made

Most of our safaris are private: your own vehicle and guide, at your own pace. This makes it easy to plan around children, photography, special interests or a celebration. Private travel also means you are never waiting for strangers, and you can decide each morning how to spend the day. If a lion sighting is worth staying for, you stay; if the children need a rest, you head back to the lodge. Your guide works around your interests and suggests options as the trip unfolds.

Every itinerary on the site can be changed: more days in one park, a different style of accommodation, a climb or a beach stay added at the end. The aim is a trip that suits you, not a fixed package. We also help with the parts of the trip around the safari: arrival and departure nights, domestic flights, Kilimanjaro climbs and Zanzibar stays. Planning everything together means one point of contact and one written plan, so the different parts of your holiday fit together smoothly from the first day to the last.
